Compliance and ethics policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

At INTEDIG we work with our clients’ data, processes and systems. That is why we act with integrity, comply with the law and apply technology, especially artificial intelligence, responsibly.

1. Commitment

Ressonânciativa Unipessoal, Lda., owner of the INTEDIG brand, is committed to carrying out its activity in accordance with the law, the contracts it signs and the ethical principles described in this policy. These commitments bind our team members and the collaborators who work on our behalf.

2. Reference rules

  • Data protection: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law No. 58/2019 and, where applicable, LOPDGDD.
  • Electronic communications and e-commerce: Law No. 41/2004, Decree-Law No. 7/2004 and LSSI-CE.
  • Artificial intelligence: Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), within the timelines and cases in which it applies.
  • Applicable intellectual property, fair competition, consumer, tax and accounting rules.
  • Anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules, as well as international sanctions and export controls.

3. Integrity and anti-corruption

We do not offer, promise, pay or accept bribes, improper commissions or advantages of any kind, directly or indirectly, to any person, public or private, to obtain or retain business or an undue advantage. Nor do we use intermediaries to do so.

4. Conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality

We disclose and manage any actual or apparent conflict of interest. We only offer or accept gifts and hospitality that are of token value, occasional and transparent, and that do not influence business decisions.

5. Anti-money-laundering and sanctions

We exercise reasonable diligence in identifying clients and the origin of payments, and we do not do business with persons or entities subject to applicable international sanctions or for unlawful purposes.

6. Fair competition and intellectual property

We compete fairly and respect the intellectual and industrial property rights of others. We use open-source software and components in accordance with their licences, and we do not include in client projects any material we have no right to use.

7. Responsible artificial intelligence

When we design or integrate AI solutions, we are guided by these principles:

  • Transparency: we make clear when a person is interacting with an AI system and what its limits are.
  • Human oversight: decisions with a significant effect on people receive meaningful human review; we do not design systems to take legal or similarly significant decisions in a fully automated way without that control.
  • Privacy by design: we minimize data, avoid using personal data when it is not needed and apply security measures proportionate to the risk.
  • Client data: we do not use client data to train third-party models or for purposes other than those agreed, and we configure AI providers, where they allow it, to limit data retention and use.
  • Fairness and quality: we assess and test solutions to detect foreseeable errors and bias, and improve them continuously.
  • Accountability: we document the purpose, sources and known limitations of each solution and classify its risk under the AI Act.
  • Prohibited uses: we do not develop systems for practices banned by regulation, such as subliminal manipulation, social scoring or indiscriminate biometric surveillance.

8. Information security and confidentiality

We protect client and our own information through access controls, strong authentication, environment separation, backups and vulnerability management. Confidential information we access is used only to provide the service and is protected by the measures described in the Data protection and security policy.

9. Suppliers and partners

We select suppliers that offer sufficient guarantees in security, data protection and compliance, put in place the necessary contracts with them, and expect them to meet standards equivalent to those of this policy.

10. Channel for questions and reporting irregularities

Anyone may raise a question or report in good faith a possible irregularity related to this policy through the contact form on this website, putting “Compliance” in the subject. We treat reports confidentially, review them with due diligence and do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.

11. Review

We review this policy periodically and whenever the rules or our activity change. The current version is the one published on this site.
